For this project, I was tasked with designing a menu for a Michelin restaurant. As the restaurant was Field & Flora, I chose a black design to stand out. For this Michelin restaurant, I incorporated aspects of nature with flowers and plants. The flowers and plants would convey the background of the restaurant's focus and connect the patrons with the natural elements.


I used InDesign to design the menu, which is 8.5 x 11 inches in size.


I had the idea that the restaurant was in the middle of a grass plain in the mountains, and the restaurant was a black box. The contrasting aesthetics would make the restaurant feel isolated from the fauna outside. Which explains the difference between the design and the theme given. The requirements of the menu were to have an chef tasting menu with wine pairings. The idea is that the menu changes based on the season. Icons were design to have an minimalistic aesthetic
